With 18 years of teaching and counseling experience working with individuals and families in Monmouth County, I have had success using activity, project, and nature-based approaches to helping and healing. Whether you are confronted with short or long-term challenges, I have found these approaches to efficiently build rapport and effectively begin the process of change. In addition to traditional in-office or in-community sessions, I often meet clients at local parks and beaches to hike, play, garden, or forage for materials to include in a project. Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, difficult transitions, relationship issues, behavioral challenges or screen-time/gaming issues, it is important to communicate, confront, and move, in order to become unstuck. |
